At the foot of Benbulben mountain, this site offers fantastic southerly views to the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding landscape. When designing this dwelling we put a strong emphasis on ingratiating the proposal into the site context. 

Key factors in providing a solution that had as minimal impact on the landscape was incorporating grass flat roofs, banking the dwelling into the sloped topography and the use of timber cladding in the material palette to mirror the rhythm of the vegetation on site.
